objective to evaluate the effect of Apatinib combined with temozolomide in the treatment of brain glioma recurrence after operation and observe its side effects. Method 61 patients with brain metastases were divided into two groups.27 patients in observation group received the treatment of Apatinib combined with temozolomide, and 34 patients in control group simplely received the treatment of temozolomide．Results imaging studies showed that the tumors disappeared 7 in observation group and 1 in control group，shranked 12 in observation group and 13 in control group，remained unchanged 6 in observation group and 9 in control group，progressed 2 in observation group and 11 in control group，The difference between two groups has statistical significance(P<0.05)．Main toxicities of this study were gastrointestinal reaction and hypertension，and there were only 7 patients with hypertension Side-effects in observation group. Conclusions Apatinib combined with temozolomide is effective for the treatment of brain glioma recurrence after operation，which is safe and provides a high local tumor control rate．
