Abstract:Objective Systematic review the relationship between TNF- alpha G +489 / A gene polymorphism and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in china. Methods Computer search the data base including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, China Academic Journals Full-text database (1979-2016.11), VIP Database (1989-2016.11), Wanfang database(2000-2016.11), we collect the study on TNF-α+489 G/A and COPD susceptibility. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 2 researchers completed the screening, extraction and evaluation of the literature, Meta analysis was carried out by Stata 12.0 software. Results We included 6 case-control study. Meta analysis showed that TNF-α+489(A vs. G;AA vs. GG;AA+GA vs. GG;AA vs. GG+GA;AA+GG vs. GA) gene polymorphism is associated with COPD susceptibility(P all<0.05). By Begg’s test to determine publication bias, the results showed that there had no publication bias in all test. Conclusion TNF-α+489 G/A gene polymorphism was significantly associated with the susceptibility of COPD in China, but still need the large-scale clinical studies to further verify.
