Objective To explore the influence of Balance evaluation on the nursing intervention in patients with elderly psychiatric in hospital. Methods 80 cases of old schizophrenia patients were randomized divided into research?group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases), the control group treated with conventional psychiatric nursing, patients were given balance function assessment in research group on the basis of control group. Combined with the result of assessment formulate corresponding nursing measures and daily living skills training. Two groups of patients were assessed by using the incidence of falls, Berg balance scale, self-care ability of daily life (ADL)?at the baseline and at the end of the 6th week of the treatment. Result Before and after the intervention The scores of the incidence of falls, Berg balance scale and self-care ability are statistically significant in the research?group (P<0.05). Conclusion Through the balance assessment in elderly patients with mental illness to develop safety nursing, living self-care ability training of nursing measures have clinical significance,and conducive to rehabilitation in elderly patients with mental illness |
